Where are we going? Where are we staying? What's the cost? Fundraising Requirements

Belize is located in Central America bordering the Caribbean Sea between Guatemala and Mexico. The capital city is Belmopan and the official language is English. Belize is 8,867 square miles with a population of about 298,000.

We will be staying at the Baptist Training Center located outside the capital city of Belmopan.

The total cost without fundraising is $1,350.00. We have been in the process of raising funds for about a year. There are three fundraising opportunities left (Run for the Son, Auction, and Barbecue). Specific requirements are mandatory for each event in order to receive a portion of the monies raised (click here for requirement details). Every student will also need to be involved in the Sunday afternoon choir training (dates to follow).

What will we be doing? Other details . . .

We will be working in three local churches doing VBS and hosting a worship/music camp at the Baptist Training Center. In the afternoons we will be doing some small construction and servanthood projects. In the evenings we will be doing evangelistic music/drama performances in the towns of the local churches we are working with.

We will have a parent's meeting at the end of February, and a $100 deposit to secure a spot will be due by the first of March.

A passport is required, so start that process immediately.
